On the occasion of International Women's Day 2022, the Vienna Stock Exchange in cooperation with the International Finance Corporation (World Bank Group) invited to "Ring the Bell for Gender Equality". With this initiative, we joined 120 stock exchanges from all continents in sending a clear signal to raise awareness about women’s economic empowerment.

At the event our CFO Andrea Herrmann, Gudrun Egger (Erste Group Bank), Monika Köppl-Turyna (EcoAustria) and Angelika Sommer-Hemetsberger (OeKB) discussed topics like the global economic impact of the war in Ukraine, rising inflation rates, energy transition and the importance of financial literacy & financial planning for women. The panel discussion was moderated by Vienna Stock Exchange Spokesperson Julia Resch.
