- 350 guests at the ceremony of the Vienna Stock Exchange Award in the Palais Niederösterreich
(Vienna) Today, the Vienna Stock Exchange and its partners honored Austrian listed companies with the Vienna Stock Exchange Award for the 12th year running. The domestic capital market elite, representatives from business and politics celebrated the ten winners in five categories at the Palais Niederösterreich. A jury of analysts honoured companies in the ATX, Corporate Bonds and Mid Cap categories. This year, there was also a separate sustainability award. Another category is dedicated to media relations ("journalists").
For the second year in a row, CA Immobilien Anlagen AG was at the top of the winners podium in the "ATX" category. According to the ÖVFA jury, the company scored with good results and excellent financial reporting and IR activities. There was a clear outperformance of the share price in 2018 along with a healhy liquidity of the share. The "Corporate Bond Award" went to OMV AG. In the "Mid Cap" category, Flughafen Wien AG was awarded first place. In the category “media relations”, the winner's podium was exactly the same as in the previous year. Flughafen Wien was again awarded first place. The jury of journalists praised the company spokespersons. They were dedicated to answering media inquiries, fast, competently and quickly. The VÖNIX Sustainability Award went to Lenzing AG. Lenzing had the best rating last year based on the criteria of the VÖNIX (VBV Austrian Sustainability Index).
