GVC Holdings: First day of trading on the Third Market of the Vienna Stock Exchange

(Vienna) On Monday, 22 February 2016, trading in the stocks of GVC Holdings PLC will start on the Vienna Stock Exchange. The multinational sports betting group from the Isle of Man has recently acquired the company BWIN.PARTY. GVC Holdings’ stocks are included in continuous trading on the Third Market of the Vienna Stock Exchange. GVC Holdings is also listed on the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange.


About the Third Market

At present, the shares and other equity securities of 27 companies are included in trading on the Third Market. The Third Market is operated by Wiener Börse AG as a multilateral trading facility (MTF). The Rules for the Operation of the Third Market apply. Trading in financial instruments on the Third Market does not require any formal admission procedures to exchange trading. The requirements of the Stock Exchange Act on the admission of financial instruments to trading on a regulated market and the obligations of issuers do not apply to financial instruments traded on the Third Market. However, the prohibitions of § 48b and §38c Stock Exchange Act (insider trading, market abuse) apply.
