Vienna Stock Exchange News

First trading day of three new ETC crypto products

(Vienna) The Vienna Stock Exchange welcomes ETC Group (ETC Issuance GmbH), a new structured product provider with a focus on cryptocurrencies. As of today, 18 August 2021, three new products based on the developments of Bitcoin, Ethereum and Litecoin, all with physical backing, are listing on the Vienna MTF. With the Bitcoin-ETC (BTCetc - ETC Group Physical Bitcoin), a carbon-neutral crypto product is also tradable on the Vienna Stock Exchange for the first time. The market maker Lang & Schwarz ensures liquidity in continuous trading between 9:15 am and 5:30 pm.

The product offering is primarily aimed at those who want to participate in the developments of cryptocurrencies without setting up a crypto wallet. On the exchange, interested parties benefit from monitored and transparent trading and secure settlement via their securities account. Anyone entering cryptocurrencies must be aware of the high fluctuations and the speculative element.
