The Vienna Stock Exchange recorded an equity turnover of EUR 3.41 billion in August 2023. Year-to-date the trading volume in equities amounted to EUR 37.10 billion.
The most actively traded Austrian stocks were Erste Group Bank AG with EUR 630 million, ahead of OMV AG with EUR 496 million and Wienerberger AG with EUR 314 million.
