i2 Business Angels (on behalf of Austria Wirtschaftsservice) matches start ups with seed and early stage investors. The service was established in 1997 and includes today more than 420 investors. Registered Investores get access to prescreend Startup dealflow via mail. Additionally the service holds investor gatherings and pitching events (i.e. Business Angel Summit Kitzbühel, Austrian Business Angel Day).
Criteria for financing
Startups need to show a "proof of concept" (first revenues / first customers). The companies provide a innovative product or service including a scalable business model. The regional focus is limited to Austria.
